My Photography/Cosplay History

My first convention was Japan Town Anime Faire in 2004 and since then I have attended almost all the major Northern Cal cons, Anime Expo being the only Southern Cal con I've been to and that was in 2007. I usually attend Fanime, Sac-Anime (sometimes Sac-Con), WonderCon, YaoiCon, ComicCon and hope to try out Tales of Anime.

My cosplay list slowly grows over the years as new games or new anime's come out and I fall in love with one. All my costumes are made on pure love for not only the show, but the character I cosplay, and yes ALL my costumes so far are (male) characters, mainly due to the fact that 1)There are very...and I mean VERY few female characters I love. and 2)The ones I actually love are WAY beyond my body type and I refuse to humiliate myself in a costume just to do a character. However I have found one so far that is perfect and that's Dominique the Cyclops. When she is done being put together she will be my very FIRST female cosplay.

Another reason I do love doing male characters though is so I have an EXCUSE to be flat chested for a weekend. Sorry, but with years of living with boobs and trying to run and or move constantly adjusting my bra or dealing with the annoying (bounce) that comes along with running, being able to bind my boobs and be flat chested is like heaven to me XD it gives me a break from being a woman.

The biggest reason of all? I'm a TOMBOY! I hate girly things >:^(. I mean I don't mind the occasional dress up in sparkly boob attire, but I'm a geeky tomboy at heart and I act like a guy most of the time, not all the time, but most and so its only natural for me to cosplay as male characters because I can ACT like them without being or LOOKING girly.
